this month, i’m going to do something different from the usual monthly prompts.
i’ve been working hard on motherlore magazine, ready for publication next month, and, as always, i’ve been so moved by all the different interpretations of the theme. below i’ve listed some of them to inspire your writing. if you didn’t manage to submit to the upcoming issue, why not get a pen and paper and try some writing now?
i would love to publish (here on substack) any free-written (or edited) pieces these prompts inspire. email me at motherloremagazine@gmail.com if you’d like to send me your responses to any of the prompts, and include your substack or social links.
pre-orders for issue three will open soon and MYCELIAL MOTHERS, my gentle writing and sharing group for anyone who mothers in any form, starts next week on wednesday, 2-3pm UK time. if you’d like to join, consider becoming a paid subscriber. it will be the last round of the year — 8 weeks — taking us up to the end of november.
